In the past ten years I have been dedicated to mostly research. It is something that fulfills me and I have all intentions to continue! I like to understand things and I believe that linking practice and theory is important and beneficial to all. Ideally theory and practice should mingle, support, and improved in all areas that enable us to do so. The area of physical activity is the perfect example.
As an author I am open to new ideas and I willing to joining a research team focused on issues related to physical activity and functional status.
Currently I have been preparing together with my colleagues from the Center of Expertise in Longevity and Long-Term Care (CELLO) a research project titled "The short-term and long-term impact of exercises aimed at restoring reflexive control to the functional and psycho-social condition of seniors living in the home environment". It was designed to empirically verify the effects of PERMANENTO in older adults.
